Hi everybody! My name is Ryleigh and unfortunately we have received devastating news about the health of one of my fur babies. She was taken to the vet this past week and was diagnosed with a genetic disease that rots her teeth, gums and bones in her jaw (if the teeth are not removed in a timely manner). She is required to have surgery to remove her teeth and cut down some of her gums, if this goes untreated she can go septic and die or worse, develop cancer of the mouth. She is only 2 years old and I know the pain of losing a fur baby all too well and I would do anything to maintain her quality of life. The unfortunate part is I have received this news unexpectedly and don’t have the funds to get her the surgery right away. I’m not one who asks for help from strangers, or asks much of it at all. She is currently on antibiotics and steroids to slow the progression of the disease. I have reached out to organizations for grants towards surgery and even looked into care credit and we do not qualify. The funds will go towards the surgery, all post-op care and allowing me to be home for a couple days to supervise her healing. I will also be working extra hours as much as I can to work towards making the goal as well. Anything at all will help, even thoughts and prayers. Thank you.
