Hi, my name is Ryleigh. I have struggled with my mental health since I was 12 years old. Over the years, I’ve been diagnosed with Bipolar Disorder, PTSD, Trichotillomania, ADHD, and severe anxiety that affects me daily. Mental health has been a constant battle, but I’ve made the decision to take an important step toward healing.
As I write this, I am on my way to New Jersey to enter an inpatient rehabilitation facility. Addiction runs heavy in my family, and I know it’s time to break the cycle and put myself first. This choice wasn’t easy, but it’s necessary for my future and my well-being.
When I return home, I will be facing hospital bills that are expected to reach at least $3,000, on top of the daily expenses of life. I recently moved into my own home in Bellefonte—a duplex I’m proud to call mine—but that also means I’m responsible for rent, electric, internet, my car payment, phone bill, and other living costs. Trying to manage these financial burdens while focusing on recovery feels overwhelming.
I am reaching out because I can’t do this alone. Any help—no matter how small—will ease my stress and allow me to come home from treatment with the ability to focus on healing rather than drowning in bills.
Your support means more than I can put into words. Please help me take this one day at a time, and please help me start this journey toward recovery.
With gratitude,
Ryleigh
