Support for Rylee

My granddaughter Rylee was airlifted from our local hospital to Duke University Medical Center on Monday, November 22, 2021. Rylee was admitted to and remains in Duke Pediatric ICU. She is currently intubated and getting assistance breathing while her little airway, lungs and body heals. Rylee has reactive airway disease which in an adult would be defined as asthma. She came into contact with RSV and Rhinovirus resulting in her inability to breath on her own. Rylee is 20 months old and is the daughter of Tyler and Harley Parrott. The doctors informed them yesterday to anticipate a hospital stay of approximately 4 weeks. Her parents are staying in a hotel in Durham to be as close as possible to Rylee during this time. There is no room to sit much less sleep in the Pediatric ICU. I’m asking that you could find it in the kindness of your heart to help them during their time of dire need. Rylee is so loved and if you can do nothing else, PRAY for her full healing and recovery! We want our baby home with us but we know we have to patient.
