Help Rykka preserve The Studio and a roof.

If you're reading this you probably know who I am, but my name is Rykka. I've spent the last several years juggling a film company reeling from covid and politics, and safe play space for local queers in Portland Oregon. Things have always been a bit of a rollercoaster, but between a bunch of financial surprises and medical things the floor has kind of fallen out below me in a way I don't know how to fix in time. People have, with extreme kindness, offered many times over the years to help out in ways large and small, and in my ego I always declined.

But I am currently at the precipice of losing everything. Both my home, and studio, and dragging one of my partners who relies upon those down with me in the process. So I am going to pull my head out of my butt and ask for help. No one needs to, obviously, and people only should if they can. I know a lot of people beside myself are experiencing rough times, and there are surely more ahead. But if you can, it would mean the world, and I will try and repay it some day, even if you don't want me to.

Beyond myself, I also do not want to lose the studio, which has been a safe space and memory maker for so many people over the last several years. Obviously it is also my place of business, but it has kind of become more than that. So this is for the community we've built there, and will hopefully continue building.
