Help Ryder Walk Again: Surgery Fund Needed
Donation protected

Hello family, friends, and fellow animal lovers.
I am reaching out with a heavy heart and request for help for our ever-loving girl, Ryder. Recently, Ryder injured her left leg causing her to be in a considerable amount of pain and have the inability to walk on her own. Our once super-energetic and playful girl is having a difficult time understanding why she is unable to perform her daily activities and can only lay in bed.
In order to give Ryder the chance of living her best life again, she requires surgery to repair her CrCL (ACL in human terms). She has a full meniscus tear and tendon rupture which is causing her bones to freely move around and rub bone on bone. This is causing her a considerable amount of pain. The surgery cost for this repair is upwards of $6000 and is a substantial amount for us. It has been a tough year financially, one reason being that I have had to spend an incredible amount of time and money helping my elderly mother move closer to me so I am able to help care for her.
Ryder has been our constant, always showing us her love for life. The saying "who saved who" definitely sums up the ways in which she has contributed to our home, lives and the lives of many others, some of which are no longer with us. She has unabating enthusiasm for all who cross her path. The mere sight of birds, squirrels and bunnies tease and taunt her as she wants to play and just live life to the fullest. Saving her from imminent torture in a toxic household was by far the best thing that ever happened to our family and now it is my turn to give back to her, we will leave no stone unturned to make sure she gets the help that she so deserves.
We are humbling asking for your support. I realize that times are tough financially, but any amount you can contribute makes a huge difference and brings Ryder closer to being able to run and play again. If you are unable to contribute, please share Ryder's story with others. We appreciate any and all help we can get.
Thank you for your generosity and kindness. It means more than you know.
Graciously,
Elizabeth and family
