Help Ryder Get Life-Saving Gallbladder Surgery
Hi! It's Kat & Jarrod, and we are reaching out with a heavy heart and hopeful spirit to ask for help for our sweet girl Ryder!
Ryder is our 10-year-old, 55-pound mix — a gentle, loving soul who has been by my side through everything. Over the past few weeks, her health suddenly began to decline. After countless vet visits, bloodwork, imaging, and specialists, we finally got answers: her gallbladder is failing and must be removed immediately.
She’s developed gallstones, inflammation, and possibly even a mass, which is now putting enormous pressure on her liver. Her liver is starting to struggle under the weight of it all and while she’s stable right now, this could quickly turn into a life-threatening emergency. The prognosis is good if successfully removed by a board certified veterinarian surgeon.
Ryder is still a strong candidate for surgery. If we act quickly and get her gallbladder removed, this procedure could dramatically improve her quality of life — allowing her liver to recover and preventing a painful rupture. I know donating in the financial times we are in right now is hard so please don't feel pressured but it would be such a blessing to us and our little family. We love and appreciate all of you.
