Help Ryder Fight Lymphoma!

If you've met Ryder, you know she is one of the funniest and most charming cats out there! Unfortunately, Ryder was recently diagnosed with lymphoma, which is a common but aggressive form of blood cancer. We would do just about anything for this cat, and have started her on chemotherapy. This will involve weekly trips to Massachusetts to receive treatment for the next 19 weeks. Overall, this will cost $9,000-$10,000 in treatment, as well as gas, medications, and lots of extra litter to make sure her and our other cats aren't exposed to hazardous waste. We are hoping that our community can help us with some of the stress that this treatment will bring. If you've been blessed with one of her infamous belly-rub flops, seen her mute little shouting, or watched her confidently stride into a room only to forget where she was going, you know how invaluable extra time with this sweet girl is. Please consider helping us with even just a dollar or two to help us keep our head above water financially during this time. We have been diligently saving and planning over the past few years to be able to build our future together, but it's hard for us to imagine that future without Ryder.

If anyone would like to keep us company on a chemo treatment that is also a monumental support. Our goal is to give Ryder the highest quality of life for as long as possible, and that hour and a half in the car each week is much better spent on a passenger's lap than in her carrier!

What your donation will support:

$2: 1 day of Ryder's food (to be blended into what we're affectionately calling "slop").

$10: Gas for the chemo-mobile (Katie's Outback) for one treatment trip

$15: One 29lb box of litter, or 1 week of food!

$50: 1 month of steroids

$150: Bloodwork (needed weekly)

$383: 1 chemotherapy injection
