Hi, my name is Aunt Jenny, G to Ryder, and I’m raising money for my incredible nephew, Ryder! (This photo is old) That's how long he has been working this hard!
Ryder is one of the hardest-working young men I know. He spent months hand-making and selling his homemade marinara sauce, raising money for his first e-bike—and for his 8th-grade class trip to Washington, D.C. He was so proud of what he’d accomplished all on his own.
But today, that dream was crushed.
While out with a friend, Ryder was approached by an adult who bullied and stole his new bike. After realizing he couldn't ride it without a key, the man threw it off a 50-foot bridge, destroying it completely—in front of Ryder.
Someone called the police, but by then it was too late. They told his parents that the bike was totaled.
Thankfully, Ryder and his friend are safe—and for that we are so grateful. He worked so hard to earn that bike. It wasn’t just a toy—it gave him freedom, independence, and the ability to help his family with errands and groceries. He was so proud to take pressure off his parents and feel grown up.
This wasn’t just about a bike. It was about dignity, effort, and a young boy’s belief in what hard work can bring.
I know there are so many important causes out there, but if you feel moved to help Ryder, our goal is to raise funds to:
Replace his destroyed e-bike. Cover the cost of accessories that were lost
Give him something joyful to look forward to this summer before he starts high school
Any amount helps—and whether you can donate or just share, thank you for supporting Ryder.
Let’s help him get back up and remind him that the world still holds more good than bad.
With gratitude,
Aunt Jenny
