I am absolutely heartbroken as I write this as my best friend, my heart, my life — Ryann, my 13 year old rescue Thoroughbred mare, has been diagnosed with Cutaneous Lymphoma. I am raising funds for her medical treatment and would be so grateful if you would consider donating any amount to help save Ryann’s life. Unfortunately, my funds are limited as I am a Severe Traumatic Brain Injury Survivor and on Disability due to Epilepsy caused by the brain injury.


Ryann Rocks has been my heart horse for six years. I got her from a big breeding farm in Saratoga, New York when her Racing Hall of Fame owner, Nick Zito, gave her away. She had previously had four babies for him and when she didn't conceive in the last year, he threw her away for $1 as she no longer suited his needs. Since then, she has become the best horse and partner I could have ever asked for. 
She is the happiest when she is galloping and grazing in the beautiful grass pasture she lives in, being groomed, getting treats and all around being Queen of the herd! 

After discovering her tumor, I traveled to Tufts to determine the best plan of action regarding treatment. After doing testing, they gave me hope that if I get her treatment right away, she will still have a chance of living a long, happy life. 


The bill for Ryann’s medical treatment from Tufts is $2,300 and the amount needed for the Immunotherapy through Torigen Labs is $1,900 plus $800 to remove the one tumor she has on her shoulder. This brings the total to $5000.
