Help Ryan With His Lifechanging News

Over a year ago, Ryan had to undergo spinal surgery. The good news was, he was told he would be able to play football again. Ryan is an individual who has suffered with mentla health, and being told he could play foootball again, was a huge factor in keeping him sane.
Though there have been times he has complained of a bad back during a match, he always finished the game.
Last week, after our match, he informed me that he had lost all feeling in his lower body, and had no control of his bladder. A 24 year old man admitting this, isn't easy.
After spending 6 days in hospital, he rang me yesterday (20th May) with devastating news.
As a result of him continuing to play, he has suffered nerve damage, that has caused him to have little capability in his lower body. Whilst he can wiggle his toes and move his right leg, he has no feeling in his left side and has been told that he will need a wheelchair for the rest if his life.
On top of this, he has lost control of his bladder, which is also seeing him need a Conveen.
The first message I received from Ryan, was him wanting to take his own life, which I had to talk him out of thinking.
But as you can imagine, from being able to walk, run, play the sport you love, to being told you are going to need support and aides all your life, had turned his world upside down.
Our club are in the process of organising some kind of match where players pay to play, alongside this gofundme, which we hope to raise money to help run with costs he will need to adjust to this new life.
If you can spare anything, be it as little as possible, it would be hugely appreciated.
