Hi I’m Sarah Whatley. I’m doing this for my husband and especially mother in law. I am doing this bc my husband can’t think straight and she is intubated and can’t move or speak. For some reason our insurance is not paying for a lot at the hospital. Our insurance and hers. It’s really messed up. Plus Ryan needs to be at the hospital with his mother and not at work. So it would be nice to have help while trying to get her to communicate while she is in the Trauma ICU on the top floor at the Heart Tower. Her CO2 is way too high and oxygen is extremely low. Her blood pressure is all over the place. We are scared. Her tremors are worse than ever and the doctor last night looked at us in the face and said she was his worse patient and that he is actually scared. How would you feel if that was said to you??!! It is scary. We are asking for help bc Ryan needs to be at the hospital with his momma especially since he’s lost his father and aunts and uncles back to back. Also bc the insurance is messing up. They keep asking for copay after copay and full price on meds. I don’t understand why this is happening right now while trying to focus on her. Another thing that the Dr said was to go ahead and inform family. What would you expect from that? That’s when you know it’s not good. We don’t have much family left as the ones of you that know us. It’s just us 3 and my kids. I could keep going on and on but I think you guys can pretty much get it. We really need this money to get her in assisted living before we hit the road for his job. Unless it goes the other direction that we don’t want and that is to lose her. Ryan is going to need time to mourn and not focus on work even though he’s a workaholic.
