Ryan is my cousin, and he’s facing a heartbreaking situation. He’s waiting for two kidneys and spends 10 to 12 hours a day on dialysis. For years, Ryan cared for his mother, living with her and supporting her through difficult times. Sadly, his mother passed away recently, and Ryan discovered that she owed a large amount on the home they shared.

Ryan lost his father when he was just 13, so he took on the responsibility of caring for his mother. Now, with his own health challenges and being on disability, he’s unable to get a loan for the amount needed to save the house. If Ryan loses this home, he won’t have a place to live or the sterile environment he needs to keep himself alive while waiting for his kidneys. He needs at least two rooms—one for supplies and one with a sterilized space for dialysis, plus a sterilized bathroom.
