Help Ryan Repair His Bass for His Bday

Our dear Ryan's birthday is coming up, and some of you may know it's been an especially challenging couple of months for him. A recent cherry on top includes a nasty split in the front of his double bass that he purchased not too long ago. It's repairable, but as you can imagine, not cheap ($1500). He will also need to get a large humidifier to prevent further damages (probably no less than $200).
