Ryan’s journey has been nothing short of a miracle. After struggling with addiction, he lost everything he owned and faced a life-threatening crisis. He died, due to heart failure and overdose. It took them 20 minutes to resituate him. That left him intubated and on life support for over a week. Our family was told to prepare for the worst, but when we made the difficult decision to remove him from life support, Ryan began breathing on his own. His recovery has been an emotional roller coaster, but seeing him respond and show signs of hope has been a blessing for all of us.

Ryan is a talented musician whose guitar, harmonica, writing music and singing were his lifelines, and losing them has been devastating. He now needs help with every aspect of daily life—physical rehabilitation, clothing, medical needs, and basic amenities. He doesn’t own anything and is starting from scratch. Music was his passion, and we hope to restore that joy to his life as he works to regain his strength, mobility, and independence.

Ryan’s spirit has touched everyone he’s met. Many people are rooting for him, and our family is determined to support his journey back to health. This fundraiser will help Ryan get the essentials he needs and give him the best chance at a full recovery—walking, talking, and making music again.
