My name is Ryan Thompson, and I’m a singer-songwriter from Hallettsville, Texas. Music has been part of my life for as long as I can remember. I grew up surrounded by it, inspired by my dad, who shared his love of music with me from a very young age. Even though he passed away a few years ago, his influence continues to guide me every time I pick up a guitar and sing a song. What started as a childhood passion has grown into a lifelong dream — to share my music with the world.

For the past 28 years, I’ve poured my heart into writing, practicing, and refining my sound. Every lyric I write carries a piece of my story, my roots, and the small-town life that shaped me. One of the songs closest to my heart is “Backroads of Hallettsville,” a tribute to where I’m from and the memories that made me who I am. Music isn’t just something I do — it’s who I am. It’s how I stay connected to my dad’s memory, my hometown, and the people who’ve supported me along the way.

Now, I’m finally ready to take the next step and record my first ever professional music project. This is something I’ve dreamed of for years, but financially, I’ve never had the opportunity.
