Help Ryan fund adaptations

Hello Everyone, I am the sister of my incredible big brother Ryan- whose life has been changed forever.

Prior to his injury, Ryan had been deployed away from home onboard HMS Albion. He had been working immensely hard in the Royal Navy and is currently a Lieutenant. Unfortunately, Ryan suffered an injury which caused him to have 2 mini strokes in his brain and a major spinal stroke while on duty on the 19th April 2022, at 22 years old.
This was a devastating shock to everyone as was the catastrophic prognosis for Ryan's condition we initially received from doctors.
Having been initially told that Ryan would most likely never be able to live independently without a ventilator; our world was turned upside down.

Ryan faced his injury with his usual strong willed attitude and admirable sense of humour. Despite having a C4 spinal injury, it is safe to say he has defied all the odds in his recovery and now has some movement in limbs which the doctor's believed to be entirely impossible.

Ryan is currently in rehab in an effort to continue his recovery. However, he will be coming home soon to his and his long term girlfriend's new bungalow which poses challenges in his journey back to living at home. Ryan's home will require many adaptions in an effort to have the most independent lifestyle he can, all of which are incredibly costly but essential. Furthermore, whilst Ryan continues his rehab journey he enjoys coming back home to see his family which he has only been able to do 3 times since sustaining his injury, (in the past 2 years due to travel and care costs).
With Ryan's birthday approaching in May he is eager to come home for a short visit to celebrate but this is incredibly costly and becoming increasingly difficult.

We believe getting Ryan home for some more visits and making his new home as appropriate for him as possible are absolute necessities, but are unfortunately very costly. Therefore, we are reaching out for some support.

Anyone who knows Ryan will be aware that this is out of his comfort zone as he is headstrong and fiercely independent but as his little sister I want him to have the best life possible and would be very grateful for any help he could receive.

Thank you so much in advance for any support you can offer Ryan.
