Help Ryan McDowell start a new beginning in Springfield, MO
Donation protected
Hello,
Friends, Family, Brothers, I have never done anything like this before, but for many reasons I have relocated to Springfield, MO. I arrived here at 3am straight off a Greyhound with nothing but the clothes on my back. I find it difficult to ask for help, but starting from scratch means I need all the help I can get.
Any contribution you make will go toward lodging, clothing, and necessities like razors, deodorant, and other essentials. I have applied for and received government assistance for food. I received $203 in government benefits for the month. There are a few shelters in Springfield that I am applying for, but the demand far exceeds the supply.
I urge you to donate if you have any fond memories of me, sharing a meal, or a laugh along the way. I will update my progress along the way. You can reach out to me directly via the normal social channels. I don’t have a cellphone yet, but hope to be getting one soon. For now, I stay connected via my tablet and I will be checking messages on a daily basis.
Today, I’m at Bass Pro looking to pick up an inexpensive pair of shoes. I wore the current pair out on the 40-mile hike from Columbia to Jefferson City. I would like to thank those who have helped me already along the way. My sister Tiffany Epperson, my dad Jeffrey McDowell, and some good friends John Sept, and Ryan Bertels. Thanks for all your help so far. Please consider donating and I appreciate the time you have spent so far reading.
