Help Ryan Kerns fight Pancreatic Cancer

I am Kacey Flanigan, and I am making this GoFundMe on behalf of my brother Ryan Kerns and his wife, Amy. Ryan served 18+ years in the United States Army and completed multiple overseas deployments. In September 2021, Ryan was diagnosed with Stage IV Pancreatic Cancer. Since the cancer has metastasized to his liver, it is inoperable. Although the cause is not definitive, it was likely caused by Burn Pit exposure during his deployments.

After 20+ rounds of Chemotherapy, Immunotherapy and targeted PARP inhibitors, Ryan’s oncologist informed him last week that the disease continues to progress and that he should stop conventional treatment.

Because Ryan is still extremely sick and the only treatment options moving forward include clinical trials, it became evident that we need help. There will be significant out-of-pocket expenses to pursue these clinical trials, some of which require out-of-state travel. Please help support Ryan’s journey as he continues his FIGHT and considers new options for treatment.

Ryan and Amy have only been married for four short years and combined have four exceptional children.
