Kari and I (Ryan) have desired to have a child from at least one year into our marriage, which was 9 years ago. Most of you know that we have a beautiful 4-year-old adopted daughter whom we love dearly. Still, the desire to grow our family remains, and we have faced tremendous difficulty in our long struggle with infertility.

After much prayer, research, and discussion, we have decided to pursue in vitro fertilization (IVF) to grow our family. This journey is not one we ever imagined ourselves on, but it has become clear to us that IVF offers the best path forward in our hopes of growing our family.

Unfortunately, our insurance does not cover any of the cost. The total cost of $20,000 is currently beyond our means, so we are humbly asking for support from those who are willing and able to help.

We understand that some may have personal or ethical concerns about IVF. We want to be transparent in saying that as a family of faith, we have spent considerable time in prayer and reflection over this decision. We feel at peace knowing we are taking this step with trust in God’s guidance and care.
