Help Ryan Horn Fight Cancer

Every once in awhile someone will come into your life that you just know is special. That is Ryan. I am a long time friend of his wife Laura's family and have watched the two of them grow from young adults, to young newlyweds, and finally young parents. So much life ahead for them but life has its valleys and mountains to climb.
After a small lump on the left side of his neck, turned into a larger lump in the course of a month, a CT scan and a biopsy determined a lacrosse ball sized mass was pushing against his jugular and salivary gland. The biopsy and bloodwork revealed that Ryan has a rare, usually fatal cancer if left untreated. Burkitt lymphoma is a type of fast growing cancer that attacks the Central Nervous System so a grueling schedule of treatments are set to start Wednesday. He will be admitted to the hospital for 5 days on, then 5 days off. Wait for the next admission date and repeat. This will probably go on until July.
We all know 2020 was a difficult year. Laura lost her beloved brother and Ryan's lifelong friend and to add to their plate, Laura lost her job of nearly 16 years due to Covid downsizing. Ryan's employer has been more than understanding and compassionate but they still have a $10K out of pocket, groceries and essentials. They are blessed with family and friends and I know we can pull it together and help!
Thanks you everyone and your prayers are appreciated.
Susan Wagoner.
