Help Ryan Get the Life-Changing Chair He Needs

Donation protected
If you know Ryan Berube, you know he is the most selfless person who would give anything he had to help someone in need. So many of us have been recipients of his kindness and generosity over the years. Now it’s our turn to help Ryan!

Ryan was diagnosed with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy, a disease that slowly breaks down all the organs and muscles in your body, at a very young age. He has required the use of a wheelchair for about the last 30 years. Though he has beaten the odds for his life expectancy, his disease continues to progress, and with that, so do his needs. Ryan’s current chair is no longer meeting his needs for an acceptable quality of life. Ryan has developed scoliosis over the years and has endured a lot of discomfort, which he continues to endure on a daily basis. He has also been stranded several times because his arm has fallen off the controller for his chair, and he is unable to reposition it. The new chair proposed by his medical specialist would be molded to better support Ryan’s back and legs, and it will be designed to keep his arm positioned on his controller so he retains the ability to control his chair as needed. Insurance has denied them multiple times, but Ryan still needs this chair for his health and well-being. To help offset this financial burden for Ryan and Amanda and their immediate families, who always have and always will continue to do so much for him, please help us raise funds to contribute toward this necessary piece of equipment for Ryan. Please donate to help Ryan get the chair he needs!
