My name is Ryan and I am 32 years old. My daughter currently lives mainly with her mother. I'd like to change her living arrangement. My daughter is 7, and I used to be able to see her 3-4 times per week. Recently, this has been drastically reduced to 3 times since Christmas. I'm concerned for my daughter, as her mother is very neglectful and makes worrisome choices for both herself and my daughter. These include allowing strangers to take her on outings and to school and allowing a new boyfriend to act inappropriately and ask questions which have noticeably made my daughter feel uncomfortable. My daughter has already tried to run away from her twice in the last year, and I'm worried there might be a third on the way. There are too many other examples to list, and the bottom line is that I am very worried for my daughter's safety.

I have already contacted a lawyer who has a more extensive list of concerns, and she has stated that I have a very strong case. I also have the support of my daughter's in-home therapists who have witnessed the behavior of my daughter's mother and her boyfriend.

While this lawyer waived consulting fees, I still need the funds for a retainer so I can take this to court. I am asking for any help that you can give. It is appreciated more than you know. Not only will this benefit me but would greatly benefit the future of my daughter.
