I normally wouldn't ask for help because always hate asking for it. unless I really need it and to be honest, not only me but my husband could really use the help. He is a happy loving husband and a wonderful father to our 17 month old son.
Shortly after our handsome baby boy was born, Ryan went to the doctor and was told he needed to go to the hospital for a few more tests. His doctor told him he had a mass in his abdomen area. In December, he had a major surgery done around the week of Christmas. We didn't know what the mass was until the day we were taking him home! I asked his surgeon what it was and that was when our world flip upside-down. We were told that he had pancreatic cancer... Cancer.... The big nasty "C" word that everyone DOESN'T want to hear. Ryan is healthy and stays active so we didn't and still don't understand why.
Ryan went through chemotherapy treatment last February and had his last treatment around July. He was pronounced clear of the cancer. Thank goodness!
But God wasn't done with us just yet.
Last November came and he was still clear of cancer. Great news, right? Well February comes around for his check up and needless to say, he got the awful "C" word told to him again... His cancer has come back... We were told that they can't remove it because of where it is located at. It's wrapped around a major artery so he is on a stronger dose of chemotherapy this time. There is a chance that it was spread but we aren't really sure so we hope that if it has, this chemo will kill off the tiny spots in the other areas.
The new chemo is wearing Ryan out worse than the last time. He was told he will be on chemo for a while to hopefully get the cancer to shrink so please keep him in your prayers and pray that he wins the fight a second time. He will have high medical bills again and I ask that you help us with whatever amount you can donate will help us a lot.
