Two years ago, I had all my teeth and never imagined I’d be in this position. After being exposed to stachybotrys, or black mold, for three years, my health took a turn for the worse. After finding the mold and moving, it took almost 2 years to get my organs functioning properly again. The mold attacked my immune and digestive systems, which stopped my ability to create enough saliva to support tooth enamel. For almost a year I had permanent cotton mouth. As a result, all but four of my teeth broke off. When my dentist first told me my teeth would fall out, I thought it sounded impossible—but sure enough, they started breaking off rapidly.

Now, I only have four top teeth and no bottom teeth. Eating has become nearly impossible, and the pain from broken roots and absest is unbearable at times. I have insurance and a job; however, insurance wont cover the cost of implants. Snap-in Dentures would give me the ability to chew and enjoy food again, and would make a huge difference in my daily life and overall health.
