Help Ryan Brown represent Team USA at the 2026 International Trap Jr. World Cups in Egypt and Germany!
Ryan has earned an amazing opportunity to represent Team USA at the 2026 Trap Jr. World Cup matches in Egypt and Germany. This opportunity will provide the experience needed to eventually reach his life goal of making the Olympics and getting to represent team USA. While this is an amazing opportunity that he has worked hard for, these international competitions are self funded and require significant financial investment, estimated at about $5,000-$6,000 per trip. All funds raised will go directly to cover the travel, lodging, ammunition, training, and ISSF permits. Your support will allow Ryan to focus on training and representing Team USA on the world stage.
Ryan began competing in air pistol competitions at the age of 10 through Michigan State University's Demmer Center. His passion for shooting expanded into rifle and pistol competitions as part of the Scholastic Action Shooting Program (SASP), where he earned several state awards. He later discovered shotgun sports when his local high school launched a trap team. As a member of the team, Ryan won multiple state titles in both trap and skeet.
In 2021, Ryan attended an International Trap introductory course at the John A. Halter Shooting Sports Education Center at Hillsdale College. It was there that he found his true passion for International Trap shooting and decided to make it his life goal to represent the USA at international matches and ultimately in the Olympics.
Ryan joined the Scholastic Clay Target Program’s (SCTP) Fudd Dusters Shotgun Sporting Team in 2022, where he competed in American Trap, Skeet, Sporting Clays, and International Trap. During his time with the Fudd Dusters, he earned numerous individual and team awards. Notably, Ryan was crowned the SCTP 2024 International Trap National Champion and earned a spot on the SCTP International Team.
With a lot of hard work and countless hours of rigorous training, Ryan achieved several state titles and quickly moved his way up through the ranks. In just a few short years Ryan excelled in the highly competitive international trap world, competing at national matches around the country. Ryan first made the 2025 Jr. National Team after competing in matches in Michigan and Florida. His dedication, discipline, and talent have enabled him to make the 2026 Jr. National Team with an opportunity to compete at the 2026 ISSF Jr. World cup matches in Cairo, Egypt and the Jr. World Cup championships in Suhl, Germany. This is a dream come true and an amazing opportunity to compete on the world stage.
In his spare time, he enjoys giving back to the community that taught him so much by introducing, coaching, and mentoring younger athletes. Ryan currently attends Schreiner University in Texas where he studies mechanical engineering and is a member of the shotgun team. He is thrilled to be part of the Junior National Team and achieve a life goal to represent his country in international competitions. Ryan’s ultimate goal is to make the USA Shooting Open National Team and compete in the 2028 Summer Olympics. You can follow Ryan’s progress on Instagram at @ryan_brown_srr.
