Help Ryan Cheung!

Hello!

Thank you for taking a moment to read this post and help my dear friend! I am Braxton Porter, a friend of Ryan’s, and I am asking for your help to get Ryan back on his feet after his car was stolen and vandalized.

On November 12th, Ryan and Andrew Washington met up at Triad Fitness near APU for a quick workout after Ryan had finished a full day of teaching. Ryan parked his car in the parking lot at Triad and spent about an hour at the gym.  After their workout, Ryan and Andrew went back to the parking lot and Ryan’s car was missing. They immediately called the police, spoke with the Triad staff to see if they could see the security camera footage, and called Ryan’s insurance company. After filing the police report, the officers assured Ryan that as soon as they had any information they would get in contact with him.

The next day, November 13th, Ryan received a call from Azusa PD stating that they had found his car and it had been towed to Downtown LA! After cancelling his remaining lessons, Ryan and I raced to the towing yard in Downtown LA which was closing less than an hour after Azusa PD called. The towing yard guys were less than helpful but eventually Ryan was able to get to his car! Unfortunately, most of Ryan’s possessions were gone. Since Ryan had just finished teaching lessons, his violin, Mac, and iPad were all in the car at the time that it was stole. The thieves took his violin, Mac, iPad, music, several suits, and other miscellaneous items.

Since his car was stolen Ryan has been struggling to make ends meet. Per the insurance policy, his car would only partially be covered and it was towed to a repair shop to be fixed. Ryan’s personal items that were stolen were not covered in by the insurance policy. Without his car and his job requiring lots of commuting, the past weeks, with his car in the shop, have been difficult to say the least. Not including the damage to his car, Ryan lost around $23,000 of personal and professional items. If you could help Ryan so he can get back on his feet, that would be so appreciated. This obviously is a difficult time so the loss of not just his personal property but his livelihood has been incredibly difficult. Please help Ryan out!

If you have questions, feel free to get in contact with myself ([email redacted]) or Andrew Washington.

Thanks again!
