Hi, my name is Tyler, and I'm asking for help for my brother, Ryan. On February 15, 2023, Ryan was diagnosed with colon cancer and underwent colon cancer surgery on April 5, 2023. Prior to his colon cancer surgery, a colonoscopy was performed but wasn’t able to be completed due to the tumor being too large.

On September 6, 2023, Ryan had a follow up colonoscopy since the first one wasn’t able to be completed, and another mass was found. The surgeon took biopsies, and late last week, Ryan was informed that the mass is indeed cancer. He is scheduled for his 2nd colon cancer surgery on Friday, September 22, 2023, and he will be out of work for at least 6 weeks as he recovers. He will be unable to work during the recovery time and it's quite possible that he will need to go through chemotherapy this time after the surgery for approximately 6 months and will miss even more work in addition to recovery time. He has used up his PTO from the first surgery and has living expenses to pay.
