Help Ryan and Michael Rebuild

Hurricane Ida caused unimaginable damage for so many as it passed through New York City; two people impacted are very near and dear to our heart, our brother Ryan and his partner Michael.

Ryan, Michael and their chocolate lab puppy Baxter moved to Bushwick - Brooklyn, NY slowly over the last week in August. Their lease was official September 1st and they were looking forward to the opportunities the city would bring. At 9:30 pm, on their first day as official NYC residents, their first floor apartment flooded. The basement where all of their belongings were staged flooded from floor to ceiling in under 10 minutes.  Ryan and Michael are both freelance designers, all of their studio equipment along with all of their personal belongings were completely submerged and destroyed in dirty, foul smelling water. They have renters insurance; however, their apartment is not in a flood zone, they do not have flood insurance - nothing is covered.

Thankfully, Ryan, Michael and Baxter are safe.

Ryan and Michael are faced with rebuilding and replacing everything.  Any amount you can give to help them in this process is truly appreciated.
