This fundraiser is on behalf of my friends Ryan and Anthony, who recently experienced an unexpected fire in their basement. It has left them facing significant damage and unanticipated financial strain. Thankfully, everyone is safe, but the fire caused extensive damage to their home, affecting not only the basement but also the joists supporting the first floor and essential utilities.
The fire destroyed personal belongings and essential appliances. It also damaged the electrical systems, plumbing, and heating, making their home unsafe and uninhabitable until repairs are made. Until they are able to get the damage evaluated and make these repairs, so they can move back in, they are living in a hotel.
Why They Could Use Your Help:
Insurance is likely to cover a large portion, but not the full extent of the damages. The funds raised through this GoFundMe will be used for:
- Structural Repairs: Fixing the joists, walls, and floors affected by the fire.
- Replacing Essentials: Replacing destroyed appliances and other necessary items.
