Hello, and thank you for taking a moment to read Ryan’s story.
My name is Caroline, and I am a proud aunt to a handsome, young teenage boy called Ryan.
Ryan is my niece’s firstborn son—a child who came into this world healthy, bright, and full of promise. In his early months, he brought endless joy to our family with his smiles and laughter. Tragically, at just nine months old, Ryan suffered a serious fall while under the care of a house help. That single moment changed everything. He sustained a severe brain injury that led to cerebral palsy, permanently altering the course of his life and the lives of those who love him.
Since then, Ryan and his family have walked a long and challenging road. They have spent years moving between hospitals and specialists—neurologists, pediatricians, ENT doctors, and therapists—doing everything possible to give Ryan the best care. Despite these efforts, Ryan is unable to speak or walk and still depends on diapers for his daily needs. He recently turned 15 years old, and through every hardship, we remain deeply grateful to God for his life, his gentle spirit, and the strength that has carried our family this far.
Today, a new door of hope has opened. Doctors have recommended specialized treatment and intensive therapy in India—care that is not available to us locally. This treatment offers hope that Ryan may learn to walk, gain basic self-care skills like using the restroom, and possibly develop abilities that can give him greater independence and dignity. For us, this represents more than medical treatment—it represents hope for a better quality of life for Ryan.
We are humbly reaching out to ask for your support. The funds raised will go toward Ryan’s medical treatment, travel, therapy, and related expenses. Any contribution, no matter the size, brings us one step closer to giving Ryan a chance at a more independent and fulfilling life.
If you are unable to donate, we kindly ask that you share Ryan’s story with others. Your prayers, kindness, and support mean more to our family than words can express.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for standing with Ryan and for being part of his journey.
