Help Ruva Mushavi Represent Zimbabwe at the 2025 Hockey Junior World Cup

Hello everyone,

We are the Mushavi family, and we’re raising funds for our daughter and sister, Ruva Mushavi, who has been selected to represent Zimbabwe in the U21 Women’s Field Hockey Team at the 2025 FIH Hockey Junior World Cup in Santiago, Chile (December 1–13, 2025).

This is an incredible honor and a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for Ruva to represent her country on the world stage.

About Ruva

Ruva is an 18-year-old student at Arundel School in Harare. She is an all-rounded young woman who excels in academics, sport, and leadership — currently serving as Deputy Head Girl, holding academic colors, and having captained Arundel’s First Team Indoor Hockey Team.

Earlier this year, she led the Harare U18A team to victory at the 2025 Inter-Provincial Tournament.

As the last born in a hockey-loving family, Ruva has had a stick in her hand since she could walk. She began playing hockey formally at the age of eight and has worked tirelessly ever since to develop her skills, discipline, and sportsmanship.

Her selection to the national squad is the culmination of years of dedication, sacrifice, and unwavering passion for the game. ❤️

Why We’re Fundraising

Participation in the World Cup requires self-funding, as the team is still in the midst of an aggressive fundraising drive that has not yet reached its target.

Players are now stepping forward to raise their own travel and participation costs to ensure they don’t forfeit their spots.
