My name is Jasmine, and I have created this Gofundme campaign to help my cousins + family during the tragic loss of their mom/Grammy (my auntie) Ruthie Romero Cordova.

On Sunday (January 16th, 2022), Ruthie lost her battle to COVID-19 and tragically passed away.

Losing Ruthie is heartbreaking.

She was truly such a wonderful and loving person. She had a heart of gold and was an extremely hard worker. She was one of the most selfless people you could ever meet (she always put others first and helped her loved ones anytime they needed it). She was always there when you needed her and would always give you her shoulder to cry on. She was hilarious, an incredible cook/baker, fabulous at sewing, and was a true joy to be around. She could always bring a smile to your face.

Ruthie's family is left heartbroken and in pain. Not only do they have to live through this devastating pain and mourn the loss of their mom/grandma due to COVID-19, but they have to deal with the difficult debts left behind as well. Grief is extremely hard to go through, and having the stress of financial burden is even more challenging.
