Help Ruth with Medical bills due to spinal leak

Our family is attempting to raise money to offset all of Ruth's medical expenses. Ruth's medical issues began in 2010 with severe pain in her legs. She tried the usual treatments provided by a chiropractor, however, the pain worsened and moved into her back. She was advised to see a neurosurgeon and in 2012 surgery was recommended. After several misdiagnoses it was determined that her real problem stemmed from the fact that she had a spinal leak. Since that time she has undergone nine more surgeries. Sadly, little is known about spinal leaks and how to "fix" them. She is now confined to bed most of the time. Have you ever had a headache or a migraine? Well, when her head is elevated she experiences excruciating pain in her head. Once her head is lowered onto a pillow the pain will subside within a day or two. We have learned that this pain is caused by the fact that fluid is leaking from her dura. The dura is the tough outermost membrane enveloping the brain and spinal cord. In addition, her vision has been impaired. Her husband has become her caregiver, and although life has changed for both of them, they know that God  is in control and they have their faith in Him.
At one time she was self-employed and had a very successful business. Because of this disability, she is no longer able to work.
They have four grandchildren and unfortunately she has missed out on many of the fun things grandmas get to do with grandchildren. 
Even with health insurance, it is still a struggle to pay the high out of pocket expenses. We are hopeful she will someday be healed,  but in the meantime, our family would be very grateful and appreciative of any financial support you can provide.
