My name is Brittani, and I am the Clinic Administrator here at Trinity Winter Haven. Today, one of our staff members received devastating news: her mother has passed away. Over the last month, her mom has faced serious medical complications that caused her health to decline very quickly. With the holidays, recent world events, and the challenges of travel, Ruth has not been able to return to Puerto Rico to be with her family.

When I asked how she planned to get there now, she shared that she cannot afford a ticket at this time. Ruth has been a dedicated member of our team for the last five years. She shows up every day with a smile, kindness, and a willingness to help everyone around her—she’s truly the type of person who would give the shirt off her back.

As much as I wish I could cover her travel entirely on my own, I am not able to do so. I am reaching out to ask if you would be willing to join me in helping Ruth get home so she can lay her mother to rest and be with her family during this heartbreaking time.
