RUTH'S FIGHT AGAINST CANCER!!!

***UPDATE: Ruth had her 1st chemo treatment on 12/30/2025. This is the first of 4 rounds over the next 3 months. In between chemo infusions, Ruth will be taking oral chemo meds. The bills are already piling up quickly, and because of the start of the new year, insurance deductibles start all over again.

As if dealing with the stress of cancer and chemo side effects aren't enough, not only do Ruth and her family have to deal with medical bills, but her car is now having issues that are expensive to fix - And she needs to get it repaired in order to get to treatments and doctor appointments.

Please consider donating if you haven't already. We are still so far from reaching our donation goal; I was hoping to see the numbers go up more than they have. I'm starting this GoFundMe for my best friend, Ruth. She and her family are like family to me. If you don't know Ruth, here is a quick description:

~ A great friend, who is always there for others

~ A kind, generous person, who will help anyone, in any way she can

~ A dedicated wife to her husband Gary, and mother to her son & grandson

On top of ongoing stress and financial difficulties amid life and trying to sell her house, Ruth was recently diagnosed with Colon Cancer. She will begin treatment soon, and as we all know, medical bills get out of hand quickly.

Ruth is usually the one to organize something like this for a friend or family member. Now it's our turn to help her!
