Eighth grade student Ruth Israel passed away on Tuesday, December 1, 2020. Ruth was a wonderful friend and family member who touched the lives of those around her.
Ruth was a child that cared about others – always the first one to volunteer for community service through school and her church. She was also a great friend and her teachers saw her as a leader in class.
We are all devastated by Ruth’s loss and want to help her family cover the high cost of a funeral service. We want to give Ruth the memorial she deserves, to honor her memory and say our last goodbyes.
West Rocks and Silvermine are currently asking for donations to help cover the cost of Ruth’s memorial services. We need to raise $2,500 soon in order to help the family afford the services.
The beneficiary of the money raised for Ruth Isreal is her aunt Barbarah Nelson. The guardian of Ruth is her grandmother, and Barbarah helps her with the family's finances. Working with Ruth's guardian, Barbaraha will ensure the donations go toward the funeral service.
