Maureen Opany is a cousin of my wife and lives in the USA and is coordinating things on our behalf..She is a very close family friend and grew up with Ruth in Kenya.
My wife Ruth who hails from Kenya originally living with myself and 4 teenage kids in Botswana was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia in January. She has been undergoing chemotherapy and is currently in hospital with pneumonia and septicemia but doing well. She will need a bone marrow transplant to survive and we appeal for help to find this. Ruth has worked for 18 years as a Nurse in Gaborone helping people all her life. She is 41 and our children Iain 19. Tricia 17. Pendo 16 and Ryan 14 love her so much. She is a Christan church going beautiful and kind hearted lady, my wife. Please support us as we need help to raise money to get the bone marrow transplant and with rising medical bills.
