My name is Katie, and I’m raising funds for my beloved dog, Rusty. She’s a high-energy, outgoing, and talkative Husky who brings so much joy to my life. Every day, Rusty looks forward to our 2-mile bike rides, chasing squeaky balls, and wrestling with her littermate brother. She’s truly my family, and her happiness means the world to me.

Recently, while we were camping at Convict Lake, CA, Rusty injured herself playing with her brother. She tore her ACL, and it’s been heartbreaking to see her unable to walk, run, and enjoy the activities she loves most. Her daily adventures have come to a halt, and it’s clear how much she misses running, playing, and letting out her boundless energy.

Rusty needs TPLO surgery to repair her knee and get back to her happy, active self. This procedure will allow her to return to her favorite bike rides, run off-leash, and play with her brother again. I don’t have human children—my two Huskies are my family, and I want to give Rusty the best chance at a full recovery. Anything helps, and every bit of support is deeply appreciated.
