Hi Everyone! My name is Rubi, and I’ve established this gofundme to help my Uncle Rusty with medical expenses. On December 18, 2022 Rusty had to have his foot amputated just below his knee, due to complications of diabetes, and a serious infection in his toe, that was spreading very rapidly. Thankfully this saved Rusty’s life!! Rusty is self employed, and will reside with family after he is discharged from the hospital, until he can adjust to being on his own again. After more than 2 weeks in the hospital, and two surgeries, Rusty will need a lot of support to get back on his feet again, literally! Hallelujah! Rusty will be able to use a prosthetic!! However, with insurance pending, all medical expenses, a prosthetic, and physical therapy, would come out of pocket.
