Hi! My name is Katie Bolton. And I would like to take the time to introduce you to a coworker, and more importantly, a very close friend of mine.

Everyone meet Rusty Day-Taylor, a dedicated emergency medical provider for Jessamine County EMS, with a heart of gold and a contagious smile that brightens up any one's day. Recently, Rusty received the devastating news that he has a brain tumor. This unexpected turn has thrown him and his loved ones into a whirlwind of emotions and uncertainty.

Rusty is an Advanced EMT with Jessamine County EMS, who recently graduated from Somerset Community College after studying Paramedicine. He has a devoted husband, Terry; and 2 sweet foster boys, which they are very close to adopting. Rusty and his family has had countless battles to face throughout the years, including a fire that completely destroyed their home just last year.

Despite facing this challenging battle, Rusty continues to show immense courage, positivity, and determination. He is not fighting this fight alone. His coworkers, friends, and family stand by his side, ready to offer support in any way possible.

As medical bills pile up, treatment costs soar and an unknown amount of time off work, we're reaching out to our community for help.
