Hello, my name is Chris Gifford. I'm the school counselor here at Russell Elementary. Since I started here, I have observed that some students are going home over the weekend without a lot of food options. We started this program to make sure that these students have something they can snack on over the weekend until they return to school the next Monday. I want to thank all of the community members that have already donated to help us get started.

That being said, our funding has been cut just like many schools across the country. In order to keep this program going we rely on donations. To fund this through the rest of the year we are needing $6000. Anything and everything helps, from $2.00 to $20.00 will help us get closer to our goal. If you and your family can help out, please do.
