Help Russell 's Family in their time of Grief and Recovery

Hi,

This is Kathy Jayko, Christine Cauthen, Carolyn McMurphy-Quick, Susan Cauthen (and many more loving family members) and we are raising money for Russell Howell and his family as they face an unforeseen health crisis.

In February 2024 Russell went to the ER in Carbondale with flulike symptoms only to be transferred to Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis when his blood tests showed concerning low levels of white blood cells and neutrophils. Since that day he and his wife Rosemary have been back and forth between local and out-of-state hospitals for extended stays with little to no answers. In total Russell has spent 80+ days and counting in medical care.

It has been a long hard battle so far and will continue to require strength, prayers and many unforeseen costs including travel, lodging, overwhelming medical bills and more.

Russell is still currently at Barnes getting around the clock care in the ICU, fighting every day. Rosemary is by his side, juggling two jobs and the emotional rollercoaster that comes with this chapter.
