Hi Everyone!
I’m fundraising to help Russ Craft with some of the medical costs he is accruing while battling his cancer for the second time.
Russ was diagnosed 8 years ago with a rare Carcinoma of the Nasal Cavities. His ears nose and throat (ENT) doctor wanted him treated at The James Cancer Hospital at OSU. He underwent 38 radiation treatments and multiple MRI’s, CT scans and PET scans. They are still paying on those medical bills and this past Spring he started having nose bleeds and went back to see his ENT Doctor. Once again, his Doctor sent Russ to The James where he had surgery for a biopsy. He was then diagnosed with Squamous Cell Carcinoma of the Sinus Cavities. This July, he started aggressive chemotherapy and now, in September, they added 33 radiation treatments along with chemotherapy. I can’t imagine having radiation 5 days a week, especially in Columbus, away from home. Russ had to decide whether to have Kat drive him daily and have her miss work or get a room near the hospital. Since he’s only getting a little over half of his weekly pay, Kat decided to stay home and work, dropping him off on Sunday’s, for his treatments and picking him up on Friday’s. As his treatments progress the doctors have discussed the possibility of a feeding tube due to the radiation to his head and neck area.
I’m asking for help for them because they are the best people and would do anything for anyone. Please PRAY and if you feel able to help them, even an amount of $35 would buy some gas! Let’s show them how much we care ❤️
