After 18 months of fighting, Russ’ doctors have told us that he may only have 4 to 5 months left to live. It’s a reality none of us will ever be prepared for. In this final season of his life, Russ has shared that what he wants most is time with his family. He has one major wish that is deeply meaningful: to attend a Padres game and meet the players. I’ve grown up going to baseball games with Dad, watching batting practice, and would love to get him on the field to enjoy this at this game. We are hoping to attend the Padres home game on his birthday—May 18th— it would be something he would cherish deeply.

We asking for your help to make this dream a reality. Dad is still able to walk short distances with a walker, but an outing like these require the use of a wheelchair. Given his cognitive & sensory sensitivities, he has difficulties following conversations in noisy or busy environments. So we have found an option that he could comfortably enjoy a game from a suite at PETCO Park, we’d appreciate any help in fulfilling his final birthday wish.
