Help Rural Students in Colombia Stay in School
Did you know that the school dropout rate in Colombia is 10.9 percent and only one in four rural students manages to graduate from high school? Many of these children face daily challenges such as long commutes, limited resources, and lack of basic school supplies, making it even harder to stay in school.
Since 2021, we have come together as a community to change this reality. Through our program, we have provided school supply kits to students in small rural schools, giving them the tools and encouragement they need to continue their studies. These kits are more than just notebooks and pencils; they are a message that someone believes in their future.
This year, our goal is to reach La Florida School, a rural school with 31 students in both primary and secondary levels. For many of these children, a new backpack or a set of supplies can be the difference between staying in school and dropping out.
It is an ambitious goal, but we know that together we can make it happen.
Every donation, no matter the size, brings us closer to ensuring that each student starts the school year equipped, confident, and inspired to keep learning.
Join us in giving these children the chance to dream, learn, and build a brighter future.
