Support for Rupa Gajmer and Family

Dear friends, family, and kind supporters,

I am reaching out on behalf of my cousin, Rupa Gajmer, who is currently receiving care at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. Rupa was recently diagnosed with a non-cancerous tumor in the 5th cranial nerve of her brain. She underwent a major surgery: craniotomy/craniectomy with suboccipital resection of the tumor on the right side of her brain.

Rupa, her husband Krishna Bhujel, and their children had been living in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. But due to this sudden health crisis, they had to relocate to Akron, Ohio, to be close to her parents for support. Rupa has been admitted to Mayo for the past two weeks.

Doctors have informed the family that Rupa will need to remain in the hospital longer, and she will need to transition into a rehabilitation program soon. This means she and Krishna may need to stay in Rochester, MN, for an extended period, far away from their two young children.

This journey has been overwhelming for Rupa and her family, both emotionally and financially. We humbly seek your support to help cover medical costs, travel expenses, and daily living needs during this difficult time. Any contribution, no matter how small, will make a difference.
