On June 30, 2025 my sweet baby niece Runa was born.

She was immediately rushed to NICU due to breathing complications. Ultimately, she would be transferred to Charlotte and put on a ventilator at 100% and the ECMO machine.

I will post all of the current updates below as they have happened, but sweet girl has been a FIGHTER!

Mom and dad were blessed to be approved to stay at the Ronald McDonald house, however, Runa has a long stay ahead of her in Charlotte before she could even potentially be stable enough to leave and come home which has caused financial hardship in other ways. Mom and dad have been out of work to be by babies side 24/7 as much as possible, as they are rightfully scared to leave with all of the ups and downs she has quickly had.
