My name is Rula, I am from Gaza, Palestine, and I am the mother of three daughters who are the most precious part of my life. God blessed me with them after ten years of marriage. My three daughters were born through IVF: the twins Faten and Yasmin, who are 6 years old, and Dima, who is 4 years old. I pray to God every day to protect them from all harm and grant them a safe and stable life.

I am a university graduate, but the ongoing war and the harsh conditions in Gaza have left me without a job or any source of income to support my daughters. We live a very difficult life. We have been displaced several times, and each time we had to leave our homes, we lost everything behind: our house, our clothes, our daughters’ toys, our dreams, and our memories. Today, we have nothing to sustain a basic standard of living.

Currently, we live in a tent that does not protect my daughters from the freezing cold or the continuous wind.

I hope to raise funds so I can remove the debris from my home and build a small shelter that protects my daughters from rats, the cold, and the winter.
