She is involved in a relentless battle against endometriosis, an excruciatingly painful condition, in addition to three other serious medical ailments. Rukshana, a devoted 46-year-old housewife residing in the beautiful Fiji Islands, has always been the pillar of strength for our family, pouring her love and care into every aspect of our lives. Her unwavering faith has been her guiding light, offering peace during these trying times.

Endometriosis has caused immense pain and suffering for Rukshana, making each day a constant struggle. The pain she experiences affects her physically, emotionally, and has a significant impact on her family. Alongside the pain, she also deals with extreme tiredness, hormonal imbalances, and emotional distress. These side effects make it difficult for her to fulfill her roles as a mother and wife, engage in social activities, and maintain relationships. The medications she takes for relief bring temporary help but also come with additional physical and emotional side effects which add to her suffering. Over the past three years, her condition has worsened, making things even more challenging for her and her loved ones. The effects of endometriosis extend beyond her body, casting a shadow on every aspect of her life. Rukshana and her family long for a future where she can be free from this burdensome condition.

Given the lack of specialized equipment and expertise in Fiji, doctors have recommended seeking treatment in India, which comes with an estimated cost of USD 15,000 (FJD 30,000). Time is of the essence, as Rukshana urgently requires this treatment to regain her health.
