Ruger is our 3-year-old Rhodesian ridgeback mix and the first pet my partner and I welcomed into our family. He’s always been full of life—whether he’s hunting, swimming at the beach, or playing in the snow, Ruger brings so much joy to our days. His adventurous spirit and loving nature have made him a truly special part of our lives.

Recently, Ruger was diagnosed with large cell lymphoma. The news was heartbreaking, but we’re determined to give him the best quality of life for as long as possible. With chemotherapy, Ruger could live comfortably for about another year. However, the cost of treatment is significant, and I’ve made the decision to go part time at work so I can be by his side through every step of this journey. Our goal is to make sure he’s surrounded by love and comfort, no matter what comes next.

The funds raised will go directly to Ruger’s weekly treatments, helping us provide the care he needs. In the end, we are going to do what is best for Ruger and his quality of life.
